COLLEGE INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract
This stock system software is specified to a college to track the amenities or
products that are consumable or non-consumable by the department. We can
use this software for maintain stock inventory records and purchases, order,
payment records on daily and monthly basis. The stock management
software generate stock reports, sales reports, payment reports all types of
reports which are necessary for mange our stock will generate in this system.

Introduction
The software allows admin and department user to maintain record of
each purchased item or the item which is bought to use for college’s various
purpose. Admin user creates inventory details of the item like date of
purchase, category, department, purchase details etc., once the item is
entered in the system the usage and update information of the item will be
updated to system by department users who is in charge of the item.

System will provide relevant information fields to update for both

consumable and non-consumable inventories.

Various reports can be generated against the information available in

the system.

Hardware Requirements:-

 4 GB Ram
 Hard disk 50 GB

Software Requirements: -
  Operating System : Windows 7 and above with MS-office
 Programming language : .NET4.5, VISUAL STUDIO 2012 and above
 Web-Technology : ASP.NET
 Back-End : SQL SERVER 2007
 Web Server : IIS.

Advantages
Maintaining the records of all the inventories of a college with various
department is tedious and takes lots of effort to make in manually. The
proposed system is the smartest way to maintain all the information that are
related to the inventories of a college and also easy to update the
information whenever it is required. Transparency ca be maintained since the
information will be shared across all the department.

Limitations
As of now the system is single tenant based system. And limited to the
predefined report generating formats.

FUTURE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

The application is designed in such a way that any further enhancements can
be done with ease. New modules can be added to the existing system with
less effort.
