HON'BLE MR INTRODUCED NEW PASSENGER TRAIN SERVICE BETWEEN POREYAHAT &. DUMKA Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon'ble Union Minister of Railways, Commerce & Industry lagged aif new passenger train between Poreyahal & Dumka on 17,9.2019 (Tuesday) through video conferencing irom Udyog Bhawan, New Del. Member Traffic and Member Engineering, Rail- way Board also graced the occasion at Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi The new passenger train between Poreyahat & Dumka has been introduced on commission- ing of the BG line from Hansciha to Poreyahat (15.82 km) which also opened for passenger traffic from today (17.9.2019). Speaking on this occasion, Hon'ble Minister said that the commissicning of this new broad gauge section and running of trains through this section will help in development of this lo- cality. Shri Nishikant Dubey, Hon'ble Member of Par- liament and other dignitaries were also present in the programme organized on the occasion of flagging off of new Poreyahat — Dumka pas- senget train at Poreyahat station this afternoon (178.2019) The basic objective of introducing the new BG section and the new passenger train is to offer mare rail connectivity to the passengers of the region for faster communication. The regular service of this new passenger train, 53562/53561 Poreyahal- Dumka- Poreya- hat Passenger (Sunday exempted) will start from 18.9.2019. 59561 Dumka-Poreyahat Passenger leaving Dumka at 13:25 hrs will arrive Poreyahat sta- tion at 15:05 hrs and 53562 Poreyahat-Dumka Passenger leaving Poreyahat at 15:25 hrs will reach Dumka at 17:00 hrs. This train will have all General Second Class coaches and will stop at New Madanpur, Bara- palasi, Nonihat, Kurmahet, Hansdiha, ‘Gang- wara stations enroute in bath the directions. Shri Nishi kant Dubey, Hon'ble MP, Godda, par- ticipated in 'Shramdaan’ , today at Poreyahat station in connection with “Swachhta Pa- khwara’. Superintendent of Police, District Mag- istrate, DRM/Maida and other senior Railway officers of Malda Division also participated in this '‘Shramdaan’ programme. Shri Dubey, Hon'ble MP also ineugurated the construction of one mini forest at Poreyahat measuring 800 mirs. x 200 mirs. where about 5000 trees will be planted. Besides, he also in- augurated construction of one water body at Poreyahat for better environment.
