Cyber Crime

Cybercrime or computer crime means taking

advantage of computers and internet to do
illegal things such as exploiting someone,
trafficking in intellectual property, stealing
other people’s identity and violating privacy.
Cybercrime is growing rapidly in India. The
causes of cybercrime are several but two among
them are hacking and fake identity.`
To avoid cybercrime we should:
 Not accepting any friend requests from
anyone unknown. In social networks like
Facebook, many anonymous people ask for
being friends with others and this can lead
them being victims of this cybercrime.
 Not sharing any of private information like
the place you live, where you go for
schooling or work or your password to any
of your accounts
 Not posting unnecessary photos. This can be
shared to anyone in this world.
Internet is like plastic, it can be proved as a
boon or a curse for us, but if we use it
carefully, this might be a very useful thing
for us. Using it properly will only do us any
good.
