etc.Variois problems have been faced by workers in casting industry like heat exposure,
hazardous chemicals, airborne contaminants etc. Technical notes that should be strictly
followed by the industry members are proper handing of milling machine, maintenance of tool
box, proper loading and unloading of metal part.
CASE STUDY :

In this industry visit we have more deeply learned the casting process and handling of milling machine.
In this industry their were two to three problems like improper ventilation due which workers are feeling
suffocated, some of the workers are applying coolant in excess, small working area etc. In order to
overcome this problem both the workers and the industry management has to take action. The major
problem which we have seen is the improper ventilation. To overcome this we suggest to install exhaust
fans and planting some plants in the surrounding of industry. Overall the industry is good and
manufacturers good quality products. The profitable rate is also good. The working area of industry is
also satisfactory by considering the machine installed in it. Our aim to to learn about casting process is
successfully achieved.
