# Continue the common superstitions: (1st Conditional)


The teacher presents the “If” clause of a common superstition, the students have to
continue it.
1. If you break a mirror,... seven years of bad luck will follow.
2. If you drop a fork, a man will come to visit you.
3. If you drop a spoon, a woman will come to visit you.
4. If you sweep under someone’s feet, that person will never marry.

# Talking Cards (2nd Conditional)


This is a group activity. Each group receives a set of cards with questions. They put them face down.
