Letter of Undertaking by Parent and Student

I, and my son /daughter

(USN: ) are aware of the minimum

requirement for a student to write VTU exams as follows.

Each semester is considered as a unit and the candidate has to put in a minimum attendance of

85% in each subject with a provision of condonation of 10% of the attendance by the Vice-

Chancellor on the specific recommendation of the Principal of the College where the candidate is

studying, showing some reasonable cause such as medical grounds, participation in University

level sports, cultural activities, seminars, Workshops, Paper presentation, etc.

A candidate having shortage of attendance in one or more subjects shall have to repeat the whole

semester and such candidates shall not be permitted to take admission to next higher semester.

Such students shall take readmission to the same semester in the subsequent academic year.

We are aware that Institution put out circular vide Nos. 23 MVJCE / CIRPRL / Date: 03.07.2017

and 07 MVJCE / CIRPRL / 2017-18 / Date: 01.12.2017 stating that the ward will be rusticated

from the college if found indulging in proxy attendance in any form at any point of time.

We are also aware that the ward must submit the medical certificate certified by a Govt. Doctor if

the student attendance falls between 75% to 85% due to health reasons, for getting his/her

condonation by Vice-Chancellor with the recommendation of the Principal.

We assure you that we will abide by the rules/regulations of the Institution.
