To know the funtion and the characteristic of the sistem

Air intake and exhaust sistema of Weel loader 950H.
6. CASO:
Introducción.
Ferreyros is the Caterpillar Dieler in Perú. They have many students doing their practices, they
have to search information about the air intake and exhaust sistema of the 950H, the supervisor
want to know about it, because they are going to repair the sistema, and befor start they need this
information. The Student have to explain the funtion and characteristic of it to the others
technicians. So he needs to enter to the SIS CAT to obtain that.

7.1. What is the type of the air intake and exhaust sistema?
Intake:
1.- Intake System without Turbocharger (TUR) or NA: It is found in most cars.
2.- Admission System with TUR or T: They are found in some light to moderate cargo vehicles
(Trocas, vans, etc.)
3.- Turbocharged, Post-Chilled or TA Admission System: they are found in heavy-duty vehicles
or that require extra power.
Exhaust:
JWAC (jacket wáter after-cooled)
SCAC (separate circuit after-cooled)
ATAAC (air to air after-cooled)

7.3. ¿What is the after cooler type?
Its function is to cool the air that is compressed by the Turbocharger when entering the
System. One of its main advantages is that it gradually cools the air for the intake chambers
in order to increase the engine efficiency and decrease the air temperature to increase the
amount of oxygen
1.- JWAC: Turbocharged engine, post-cooled with water from the Shirts. Its function is to
circulate clean air and remove combustion gases.
2.- ATAAC: Turbocharged engine, post-cooled air to air. It is found in tractors and cranes.
3.- SCAC: Turbocharged motor, post-cooled separate circuit. It is found in construction
trucks.
