In Hidalgo, the people said that a long time ago the witches were woman who in the darkest
nights they took off their legs and left them in the fire to later turn into black guajolote.

an off they were looking for babies to suck the blood.

The people used crosses in babies' rooms, they also used mirrors next to babies to protect them
when the witches came to feed on them because it is believed that witches should stay away
