HARD STEERING IN MAKING A COMPLETE ROTATION OF STEERING WHEEL Attention should be paid to the following condi- tions, because they can cause hard steering © Insufficient tire inflation. Tire size too large. Wheel offset too small Wheel spacer is not inserted. Vehicle is provided with special equipment that increases vehicle weight excessively. © Pump belt slacked. Flow chart Considerably greater steering effort is required than with power steering (Hard steering at low-speeds and com- plete rotation of the steering wheel).
