Measuring torque converter charge pump oil Pressure (clutch main regulator oil pressure) 1) Remove the cover at the left of the trans. mission. 2) Remove oil pressure measurement plug (PT1/8) (1) from the transmission control valve, then install nipple C2 and connect oil pressure gauge C1 (5.9 MPa {60 kgicm*). 3) Start the engine and measure the oil pres- sure with the engine at low idling and high iting. 2. Measuring clutch inlet port oil pressure 1) Remove the cover at the left of the trans- mission, 2) Remove oil pressure measurement plug (PT1/8) (2) from the transmission control valve, then install nipple C2 and connect oil Pressure gauge C1 (5.9 MPa {60 kgicm*)) 3) Start the engine. 4) Measure the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th clutch oil pressure with the engine at low idling and high idling under the following conditions, i) Place the directional lever at neutral. ii) Place the speed lever at the speed range to be measured. 5) Measure the FORWARD and REVERSE clutch oil pressure with the engine at low idling and high idling under the following condi- tions. i) Turn the transmission cut-off selector switch OFF. ii) Depress the brake. iil) Place the speed lever at 2nd. iv) Place the directional lever at F and R. 20-116 o usi903Cus1903¢ TESTING AND ADJUSTING |. Measuring pilot oil pressure 1) Remove the cover at the left of the transmis. sion. 2) Remove oil pressure measurement plug (PT1/8) (3) from the transmission control valve, then install nipple C2 and connect oil pressure gauge C1 (2.5 MPa {25 kg/cm’) 3) Start the engine and measure the oil pres- sure with the engine at high idling. 4.
