The line graph illustrates the overweight rates in 9 countries from 1970 to the present time and

projects future development up to 2020. Overall, the trend in the proportion of overweight people
is upward in all nations; however, some nations (…) had to deal with/face the problem much
earlier than the other.. --- BETTER OVERALL!

In the USA, tpast and projected future overweight rates in 9 countries from 1970 to 2020, but the
information about past overweight rates does not start in the same year for all of them.

The number of overweight people began in as early as the USA in the 1970s. From the end of the
70s, the percentage of overweight people in the United State country slightly increased from
about 25% and by 2020, it is predicted that this proportion will have risen to around 75%.

From 1980 to 1990, statistics about obese people were collected/documented in 4four other
different countries, are appearing flabby people namely Spain, Austria, Australia, and France.
Until 1999, the percentage of these people in figure for Spain increased steadily to nearly 50%.
Between 2003 and 2010, the number of obese people in that for Spain declined temporarily
before rising again, and it was predicted to increase to 55% in 2020. The pattern (of the
percentage of chubby people infor the statistics collected in) Spain is similar to that of Austria
(….). The proportion of chubby people in figure for Australia rocketed from around 25% to
about 65%. Between 1994 and 2000, the percentage of fat overweight people in France went up
and down unexpected, and it will is predicted to rise to around 45% in 2020.

England, Canada, Italy, and Korea only faced the problem of obesity from 1990. In England,
bFat people appear the latest in four countries from 1990 to 2000 namely England, Canada, Italy,
and Korea. Between 2000 and 2020 the percentage of overweight people in England slightly
increased from around 50% to nearly 70%. The pattern of the percentage of chubby people ifor n
Canada is nearly similar to that of Italy. In Korea, the percentage rate/proportion is lower than
those in other countries, but it is still projected to followed an upward trend until 2020.

In conclusion, among the nations, tOverall, the trend in the proportion of chubby people is an
upward trend. The highest increase in the overweight rates throughout the documented periods d
in 9 countries is that of Austria (32%), followed by the USA and England.
