 Preface

Praise God Almighty for His blessings, and that we were given the opportunity to compile a
working paper entitled "important pests and diseases of sugarcane" correctly and in a timely
manner. This paper is organized so that readers can find out how important it is to know the types
of pests and diseases important in sugarcane. This paper was prepared with the help of various
parties. Both parties come from outside as well as from the parties concerned themselves. And
because of God's help and assistance, this paper was finally completed. The purpose of making this
paper is to fulfill one of the tasks of the important pest and plant disease course. The authors also
thank to Prof. Ir. Liliek Sulistyowati, Ph.D as a lecturer in pests and important plant diseases.
Hopefully this article can provide broader insights to readers. Although this article has advantages
and disadvantages.
