Philosophy paper
How my experiences during the preschool credential have
influenced me are, I take what I read and use it in my classroom. I
defiantly have seen a change in my room after each course. I have taken
so much from the readings and have used it in my classroom and in my
lesson plans. It has helped with less chaos with transitions as well. I also
think that music has a lot to do with the children and how we come
across it, music helps children learn so many new and interesting things.
Helps set mood and atmosphere. I personally have taken a lot of this
information and used it but I have also helped some of my workers with
ideas from the readings. The art of it is very helpful.
My own personal of working with preschool and families are, I
have experienced with working with pre schoolers that they call the
show. It’s on their time not ours. You may get to everything on the
schedule and some days you won’t. But all in all, is what fits the child
and there needs and if that is being met its all good. The families are
wanting to be in the loop, so communication is very much needed.
Helping families find resources if needed.
My own personal of why I work with pre school and families is, I
love teaching children and watching them grow and accomplish their
goals. They inspire me to keep motivated and keep helping. I like the
pre school curriculum. Helping children is what I like to do because
seeing there face and excitement of accomplishing something is so
satisfying, why I work with the families is because I want there children
to succeed in their life and meet there goals.
