Use and Works
Obat ini bekerja dengan cara menghalangi aksi zat natural
dalam tubuh seperti epinephrine pada jantung dan
pembuluh darah. Efek ini dapat menurunkan detakan
jantung, tekanan darah, dan kejang pada jantung.
Used as an antihypertensive (untuk mengobati tekanan darah
tinggi). Beta blockers have a compelling indication for use in
patients with high-risk conditions such as heart failure, MI,
coronary disease, and diabetes

Side effects : dizziness, tiredness, a slower heart rate,


headache, diarrhea, nausea.

Half-Life : d-nebivolol has a half life of 12 hours in CYP2D6


extensive metabolizers and 19 hours in poor metabolizers.
Route of administration : oral

Onset Of Action : It may take 2 weeks before the full benefit


of nebivolol is seen in blood pressure readings

Duration Of Effect : It has a long duration of action as effects


can be seen 48 hours after stopping the medication

Contraindications :
Hypersensitivity, severe hepatic impairment, cardiogenic
shock
Sick sinus syndrome (if no pacemaker), 2°/3° heart block (if
no pacemaker)
Bradycardia (HR <50 beats/min), decompensated heart
failure
Severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C)
