DISEASES

According to Healio.com, a disease is an abnormal condition affecting a living organism.

Diseases are generally understood to be medical conditions that involve a pathological
process associated with a specific set of symptoms. Localized diseases affect specific parts of
the body; disseminated diseases spread to other parts of the body; and systemic diseases
affect the entire body. The World Health Organization's claim that health is “a state of complete
physical, mental and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”. In my
opinion, without diseases we can’t be immune to 1 or bacterias because vaccines and cures can
be found in the origin of the disease. However, I’m not saying that having a disease is good
because diseases are only good for determining if the immune system is working or not and for
making vaccines and cure for those illnesses and diseases. Diseases can lead to negative and
positive effects. For example, a disease can kill people who are poor in immune system. Diseases
can help the people to be immune with it because of vaccine. Diseases can also be contagious
for the people who live in squalid and overcrowded urban areas.

For us to have a stronger immune system, we should maintain a healthy body, eat healthy and
have a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and get screening test or have a regular check up. Also,
clinics and small hospitals should have necessary medicines and equipments in case of needs.
Therefore, diseases can be positive or negative depending on how you understand the positive
and the negative effects. Clinics and Health places should have more better equipments and
medicines for treating patients with immediate needs. Health professionals and health
governments should research about the new diseases that are occuring for them to make vaccines
and cure in case these diseases might be dangerous. Also, I suggest that they make better
vaccines for better effects.
