The relay is derived from the specification MS27743 and MIL-R-6106, the main difference being the polarization method, securing by captive screws, built-in suppressor and lightning protection. Poles A and B are used for switching normal loads and pole C is used for switching low level loads. The relay is also capable of switching specified capacitive loads. The assembly is housed in an hermetically sealed metal casing. Restrictio Relays in accordance with this standard shall not be energized for more than one minute in any one hour period. Exceeding this duty cycle can result in damage to the relay. 2 Normative references s27743 Relays 25 A, 3PDT, all welded, type 1, hermetically sealed, permanent magnet drive.
