ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First of all, I would like to thank the Almighty God for giving me strength and for

leading me to His plans. For forgiveness He showered upon. For the gift of life and the

blessings He always give to me and to my family.

To my ever supportive family, who support me throughout this battle field of

teaching. The one who support me financially, emotionally and physically. Thank you for

standing always at my side for motivating me always when I'm about to lose hope

because of stress. For helping me to reach my goals in life. The one who always comfort

me when things went complicated. I love you Ma, Pa and Manang!

To my beautiful and ever supportive mentor, Ms. Catherine Grace M. Muring, who

inspires me a lot to teach because of the teaching strategies she taught. Ma'am, I thank

you all for the time and effort you gave especially in helping me to make my visual aids

in final demonstration. Thank you Ma'am for sharing and teaching me something new

about what to teach and how to teach. With the past experiences I took care not to

commit another mistake again same as my former mentor. Thank you for the freedom, I

hope I have not abused your goodness, thank you for understanding and for your patience

and putting trust in me. I hope I have satisfied you and pleased you for everything. Thank

you for correcting my mistakes and enlightening me, inspiring me to go forward inspite

how rocky the road is. Thank you for hearing me out and making my loads light.

To my beloved students,Felicity, Fortitude, Humility, Harmony and Honesty. Thank

you for your participation in my class. I do really appreciate of your compliments and

comments about me as your English teacher. The Grade 10 students, both Felicity and

Fortitude, thank you for cheering me up not to be nervous during my final demonstration.

vi
Things would never be possible without you, that's why I'm so blessed that you are

responsible and helpful students.

To my co-student teachers in Nagbalaye High School, who also supports me

during my final demonstration. Thank you guys for the moments we spent together, the

laughter, the problems and all other experiences we shared each other. Guys hope we still

see each other after this school year end. I really cherish the memories we had!

To my friends , having them in a short period of time during the last year of being

a student is like a lifetime. Though we have separated during our student teaching since

we are deployed in different laboratory schools we found excitement every time we have

conferences in NORSU for we are bound to see each other again.

To my classmates or shall I say the Englishers whom I've been with struggles and

happiness in class. I've missed them a lot, I'm sad to feel that we are about to separate

ways after this level but I'm very much thankful for the information, encouragements,

challenges and joy we have shared.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanksgiving to the institution where we are

being moulded. To the Faculty and Staff of Negros Oriental State University Bayawan

Sta. Catalina campus. To the dean of Education, especially to Dr. Lucille C. Himpayan. I

would not be this kind of person without the knowledge she has imparted to me, for the

responsibilities vested on me for without those, I would not be this kind of person.

Although I have lapses I know I have learned my lessons. I have proved that everything

happens for a reason.

To all instructors of NORSU-BSC, that made me inspired and believed in my

abilities and hold their patience on me. Beyond any reason of being discouraged of my

vii
school among all the issues striking the institution, I still have many reasons to love and

be thankful to NORSU-BSC. For it has made me feel my Home, my Hope and My

Future.

To my laboratory school; Nagbalaye High School. To Mr. Gerardo T. Paltingca,

Jr.; whom received and entertained us in their school, thank you very much Sir. For the

faculty and staff whom challenged me and encouraged me in some ways which pushed

me to strive hard.

Again, to Almighty God, even though He is unseen nor visible, I have felt His
presence for it is in Him I offer everything and it is in His shoulder I cried whenever there
are things I encounter heavy that I cannot tell others, all the pain and sorrows it is God I
found the comfort and guidance.
