Our Beliefs

The Scriptures

• We believe God has preserved and kept His Word just as He promised to do (Psalm
12:6,7)
• We believe that God has preserved His Word through the Masoretic Hebrew and the
Textus Receptus Greek
• We believe God's Word is inspired and is without error
• We believe the King James Bible is God's Word for the English Speaking World.

The Godhead
The Bible declares that the Godhead consists of: God the Father, God the Son and God the
Holy Spirit. This is also known as the “Trinity”.

Creation
The Bible declares “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1).
Following that opening statement the Bible lays out the creation account. In six literal days, God
created out of nothing, the heaven and the earth. We reject evolution as a dangerously flawed
theory that is in reality also a false religion.

Jesus Christ
The Bible declares that Jesus Christ is one with God the Father. He has no beginning and no
end. He “took upon himself the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of man...”
(Philippians 2:7)
Jesus Christ, according to the eternal plan of God, was born of a virgin in the fulness of time, for
the purpose of giving His life a ransom for many. He shed His blood on the cross of Calvary for
the sins of mankind, yet He was without sin. He was buried and rose again the third day
according to the Scriptures. He ascended back on High and is today seated on the right hand
of the Father in glory.
Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of mankind. He is the only mediator between God and men.
He will one day soon be coming back to receive His own unto Himself.

The Holy Spirit

The Bible declares that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. He is the One Who
convinces the world of sin, or righteousness and of judgement (John 16:8). We reject the false
teaching regarding the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit as promoted by the Charismatic
movement, choosing rather to believe what the Bible, the eternal Word of God declares
regarding Him.

Salvation
The Bible declares that salvation is a free gift that God offers to man through the finished work
of His Son Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:8-10)
We reject any notion that man plays some part in his salvation. Man is incapable of saving
himself and must come to God in repentance, willing to accept the free gift of God – salvation
through the Blood of Jesus Christ alone as the payment for his sin. This is the only way for man
to know the forgiveness of sin.
We reject the false teachings of both Calvinism and Armenianism. We are Biblicists, choosing
to follow what God declares, rather than what man presumes.

Man
The Bible declares that man is born in sin.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)
The Bible also declares that man is lost. He cannot find his way to God on his own. He must
come through Jesus Christ.
Man is created with a mind that can reason and choose. God has declared Himself to man
through His creation, through His prophets, through His Son, through His twelve apostles,
through His Word. Man must choose to accept God’s free offer of salvation. If he rejects God’s
offer, he will set his destiny, due to his rebellion, to an eternity in the Lake of Fire.

Marriage
The Bible declares that marriage is to be between one man and one woman for life. In a world
that seems to be without direction on this important matter, it is necessary to remind ourselves
of what God says. Sodomy is something that God has already judged and even if man decides
to make it right, this does not change God’s decree. God offers forgiveness of sin through the
blood of Jesus Christ. This forgiveness is available for all who will repent, seeking God’s
forgiveness. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6)

The Devil
The Bible declares that the devil is a fallen angel. He is the enemy of man, but lesser in power
than God. No man can excuse his sin by suggesting “the devil made me do it.” God has
demonstrated His power over the devil through the record of Job as well as through the
crucifixion account which clearly demonstrates the victory man can know through the salvation
offered by God.

The Church
The Bible declares that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. The Bible does not teach the
false concept of the “Universal Church.” This is a false doctrine developed by the Roman
Catholics. The Bible speaks of the local church, which is to be established in a local area and
accountable to God for Its’ direction and actions.

The local church is to be led by a faithful, born again, Bible believing pastor who must be a man,
not a woman. Currently there is a trend toward “home churches”. In most instances, we believe
this trend is simply a way for disobedient people to try to justify their disobedience and not join a
good local church. In rare instances, there is a need to establish a “home church” due to
extreme distances of travel to a Bible-believing local church. Those who legitimately form a
“home church” need to spend much time in prayer for God to either provide a way for them to
move to closer proximity to a sound local church, or they need to pray that God would raise up a
man to come as their pastor.
Biblical Separation
Separation is a Bible doctrine often misunderstood and often slandered by those who do not
understand it or choose not to obey it. One such group is the New Evangelical. The Bible
teaches that separation is for two reason: 1) for the purity of the local church, 2) as a means of
clearly being able to declare God’s truth to a lost and dying world. Separation involves
separation from apostate and compromised religious groups as well as from worldliness.
We reject the ecumenical movement, the emergent church movement, the New Evangelical
movement and any other movement designed to destroy what Jesus declared would remain
until His return.

The Return of Christ

The Bible declares that the return of Christ will take place in two distinct stages. First, the Bible
teaches the imminent, any moment return of Christ for the saints, both those who have died and
those who are yet alive. Second, the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ will come back to earth to
defeat the Anti-christ, and establish His millennial kingdom. In both of these instances, it will be
the same Jesus that suffered and died on the cross of Calvary, was buried, rose again and
ascended back up to glory, Who will return.

The Eternal State of Man

The Bible declares that all those who are “born again” will be with God for all eternity. The Bible
also declares that all those who reject God’s offer of salvation, will spend all of eternity
separated from God in the Lake of Fire.

The purpose of this brief statement is to give a summary of what the Bible teaches and to
challenge the reader to consider his eternal destiny. This statement is not mythology. It is not
just one opinion of some. It is what the Word of God declares to be so. We trust and pray that
those reading this statement will be sure they are prepared to meet the God of the Bible one
day very soon.
