The chart illustrates the proportion of employment between men and

female in six nations from 1995 to 2005.


As is observed from the given data, initially in 1995, more than 65%
males were employed in Iceland, which reached the top rate. While in
UK this rate was quite low only accounted for 55%. At the same time,
the male employment percentage was approximately from 58% to 60%
in USA, New Zealand, Switzerland and Australia. After a decade, the
rate of male employment was increased significantly in 2005.
Specifically, this ratio occupied the highest figure in Iceland, which rose
by 12% compared with the same period last year. Two countries reached
the second and third place was Switzerland and UK respectively and for
the rest of the countries, this was approximately 70%.
Turning to female employment, in 1995, this rate reached greatly figure
over 50% in Switzerland, while the UK gained the next position. After
10 years, female employee rate reached to almost 70% in Switzerland
and for the rest of the countries, it was 50%.
Overall, The male had a better employment record than the female and
in 10 years. All of the countries saw an increase in the employment rates
by both genders.
