As you prepare to teach UiPath provided course material to your
students, the very first step is for you to feel very comfortable and
confident before your first lecture. You want to know a lot more than
what you will teach. Before you review the course RPA Design and
Development, it will be very useful to learn, practice, and even get
certified using the following assets available at no cost to you.
1. Download UiPath RPA platform. Install UiPath software* (Community Edition)
on your Microsoft WindowsTM computer. This is the same software that you will
use to teach your students in the class. For now, you can get familiar with the
platform, practice processes automation, build your robots, and even automate
your own processes to save time from repetitive processes. You are licensed
the software and it will renew automatically as long as you have internet
connectivity to your computer.
2. Training. Sign up for UiPath Academy* to start learning and practicing. You
have access to many online courses. At a minimum, we recommended that you
complete the following courses for which we have built a custom Learning Plan
that can be accessed on this link.
2 Hrs. Online
This course is centered on RPA fundamentals: the definition of RPA, the way
in which companies are exploring this technology, and the benefits that
can be attained using it. The lessons also include guidelines on selecting
the appropriate processes for automation, and strategies for successful
RPA implementations.
30 Hrs. Online
Dedicated to beginner-level users, the RPA Developer Foundation Training is
designed to walk you through the essentials of UiPath. Covering theoretical
concepts as well as hands-on exercises and quizzes, this training will
enable you to build a good knowledge of UiPath features and technology.
UIPATH ACADEMIC ALLIANCE P.1
 UiPath Orchestrator Training 4-5 hrs. Online

This module presents the basic and advanced Orchestrator features and
functionalities. The course includes a set of practical exercises that can be
done in the free training environment.

RPA Developer Advanced Training 40 Hrs. Online

Building on top of the RPA Developer Foundation training, this course

explains how to leverage all the functionalities of UiPath Studio through
the means of a specially built application that simulates the production
environment experience. The module focuses on a hands-on approach
following the carefully articulated best practices that empower users to
build clean and efficient automation solutions.

3. Certification. Once you have successfully completed the above courses, it is

very likely that you are ready to test your knowledge and get certified*. Though
it is not a requirement for you to teach your class, it’s worth your consideration.

RPA Developer Advanced Certification Online: Quiz – 1.5 hrs. Practical Exercise – 3.5 hrs. Online

The Certification exam tests that you have attained in-depth knowledge
about RPA and UiPath components and features. It also validates your
ability to successfully automate a real-life project based on UiPath best
practices and automation principles.
