My experience in event planning and music event coordinating makes me the perfect candidate
for the Event Manager/Coordinator position at Slay Event Management and Consulting. The
opportunity to work with the SEMAC community would be an incredible chance to learn, grow,
and build relationships with like-minded and passionate people.

I have been working with The Final Five Agency as an Event Projects Coordinator for 2 years
after being promoted from a Booking Assistant. In my work, I oversee a team of 2-5 assistants
and coordinate artist and venue relations. I have been able to build connections with hundreds
of artists, in different genres, all over the country. Working with over 500 artists, I have
developed outstanding communication skills in various forms, specifically written and verbal
communication. Since I am based out of Austin, many times I am required to effectively
communicate with people across the country via email and phone calls, relaying crucial
information to ensure understanding.

While working with Highbridge Events, I learned important details behind producing large scale
events. I was responsible for sponsor and vendor ticketing as well as management of 15 front
gate volunteers. I enhanced my organization skills as well as my time keeping while preparing
for the event. When on-site, I learned the importance of adaptability, dealing with unique
situations that arise with clients, performers, staff, and attendees.

I am certain that I have the experience needed to succeed and will be an asset to Slay Event
