Executive Director

Dear Sir,

During my education, I found Physics and Mathematics extremely intriguing and very
interesting which is why I decided to take it up as a career in later years. Wanting to take
this interest even further, I would now like to try my luck by applying at your school. I am
confident that I am the right candidate for this High School Teaching Position.

People tend to believe that teaching is an easy job – I beg to differ. There is nothing more
challenging than imparting knowledge in an understandable manner. I possess the ability
to communicate lessons in not only an effective way but in a fun manner also. My inborn
patience and the ability to work effectively with young adults have earned me considerable
success over the years. I am of the opinion that students will only learn when they are
comfortable with a teacher which is why I strive hard to plan lessons based on individual
student’s ability to learn.

You will notice two common threads throughout my teaching career i.e. I thrive on
challenges and lead by example. I also comprehend the need for professionalism which is
why I know just where to draw the line between a student-teacher relationships.

All of the above and much more to add to my personal and professionals conduct, I can be
an excellent choice for this position. I suggest that we meet soon so we can discuss how I
can make things even better at your school as far as Physics and Mathematics instruction is
concerned.

I am positive that I have sufficient skills and abilities to add to the success of your school. I
may be reached at 0927-405-3841 if you need further information regarding my claims in
my resume. I look forward to meeting with you in person. Thank you for taking out time
from a busy schedule to consider my application.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely

Cyrus A. Ratilla
