Madam / Sir, The undersigned us directed to refer to the circular issued vide this Ministry's letter No, RW/NH-33023/19/99-DO-I, dated 17.10.2003 on the subject mentioned above. 2. As per clause 10.5 of the above circular, one time licensee fee of Rs. 1,00,000/- is payable by the licensee to the Government. However, instances have came to the notice of this Ministry that in some cases higher licensee fee are being demanded by the concemed executing agencies as per the provision of Highway Administration Rules, 2004, 3. In view of the above, it is to clarify that tll finalization of the revised guidelines for norms for the Access for Fuel Stations, Service Stations and Rest Area along the National Highways, licensee fee at a uniform rate of Rs. 1,00,000/- shall be charged from the licensee ‘until further order. 3. This issues with the approval of Secretary (RT&H). 4, It is requested that the contents of this letter may be brought to the notice of all concerned for needful compliance.
