WORLD POPULATION

As of October 2019, the current world population is 7.7 billion according to the
most recent United Nations estimates elaborated by Worldometers. Currently
(2019-2020) the world population is growing at a rate of around 1.08% per year (down
from 1.10% in 2018, 1.12% in 2017 and 1.14% in 2016).

The current average population increase is estimated at 82 million people per


year. And according to the latest world population projections the world population
will reach 10 billion persons in the year 2057.

The current population of the Philippines is 108.5 million as of October 2019 which

the latest United Nations data). The population is forecast to hit 110 million by 2020, and
125 million by 2030.

100th MILLIONTH FILIPINO IN THE PHILIPPINES

On July 27, 2014, the 100 Millionth baby of the Philippine was born, it is the
birth of a baby girl,Jennalyn Sentino, at 12:35 a.m at the Dr. Jose Fabella Hospital.
She is the first child of Dailin Duras Cabigaya and Clemente Sentino Jr.
