Unit 2.1. Going on a trip

Hi Mom,

John and I are having a great time here in Ireland. Every day
we woke up early and took a long walk in the countryside.
When we returned, we generally had a very large Irish
breakfast that usually consisted of two eggs, three slices of
bacon, toast and jam. We usually ordered a cup of coffee after
breakfast: Colombian coffee, of course.
After breakfast sometimes we will swim in the river. We often
met children who like to swim there. They were very nice. At
night, we almost always drank some pints of Guinness at the
pub bar before we went to bed. We always slept well after that,
I can assure you.

Unit 3.1 3 past simple - unit 3-1

Talk about qualifications for a job

Use vocabulary and expressions to talk about previous
working experience
Use get with different meaning and in colloquial expressions
Use gerunds after prepositions
The great differences between those seeking employment are
not in the most technical part, but in the competition, there are
lacks that when working in teams, leading, communicating and
analyzing. According to studying it is believed, these
competences can be developed during the work stage, but “it
would be a long time if these aspects were worked in the
formative period”, to get along with someone, people, clients

One of the apparently most basic is the command of other

languages, to get in touch with someone to attract people from
another country.

Another of the basic skills demanded by employers and that

does not seem so common is the ability to present an idea well.

In addition to knowing how to communicate, it is necessary to

know how to analyze, organize and make decisions, since the
jobs that will remain available will be those that cannot be
replaced by technologies, organizational changes or
outsourcing processes.

Unit 3.2

must organize, the products of the supermarket, among which
are, vegetables, which always the greengrocer of the
neighborhood neighbor comes to buy, the meat that the
butcher brings very early every Tuesday, and the groceries that
neighboring shopkeepers come to acquire, it is very important
that Juan understands that rice should always go to the sugar
side, and to the right of the spices, and that canned products
are always placed on the top shelf.

LETTER WITH ALL PARAGRAPHS

Dear friend Simon.

I am very happy to visit your house. I can imagine your house and it’s fantastic and
very practical, it has buttons to open the windows. I should be very careful with the
windows and close them if I'm going out. I am as neat as you. Then, I will take care
of everything with a lot of love. I bought the plane ticket and I prepared my suitcase.
I should keep in touch with you. Thank you very much for your recommendations. I
have to visit the restaurant. I should go to the festival too.
Thanks for everything. John

The only other thing to tell you is that there´ll be a festival in the town centre during
the second week our visit. It would definitely be worth checking out.And don’t forget
to go to that restaurente I told you about- it´s called the grill and it´s just across the
street.

Thanks Simon, I will be at the next festival and will have a great time. I will also go
to the recommended restaurant because there is very good service. I will be
watching the floor
