Mechanical Engineer is not the one being served, they are to serve their profession.

It doesn't end up
having the four letter word before their name, 'Engr.' passing the board or finally finishing their degree.
Mechanical Engineer can be considered already as Engineer ever since they choose this profession to
pursue. Being able to serve anyone by their intelligence and use their skills in accomplishing something.
As a Mechanical Engineer it is an honor, a pride to be looked up but not use to look down on someone
who doesn't achieve their profession but follow their pursuit. They shall maintain the pride for his
profession, observe the standards of professional practice, safeguard, the dignity, welfare and reputation
of his colleagues in the professions, and fulfill his duties and obligations as a citizen of the Republic of the
Philippines. Mechanical Engineer should not stop learning, they would continue the legacy of making the
lives of everyone much easier than it was before. They should know how to cope up with the changes,
the development and the non stop innovation. They will continue finding answers to possible problems.
They should be vigilant. They should be aware of the possibilities of the unpredictable phenomenon.
They are equal to any profession. They should help each other in safety, in confidentiality in sake of
everyone. They shall also be familiar with the state on Labor and Social Justice as well as Social
Legislation and shall observe faithfully these policies and laws in his dealings with labor in general and
with his workmen in particular. Mechanical engineer should be also a good example, someone that
should be followed for rendering services needed for the adequate and orderly development of the
resources of the country and to offer his mechanical devices and intentions essential or necessary for
national defense. They are no difference with other people who should obey the law and no exemption
on violations. Mechanical Engineer should be bold, strong, and can stand still like their names, like their
works, like their minds.
