Al Gonzalez Post Introduction

An animal rights group called the Animal Justice League, have proposed that a compulsory testing
and licensing for pet owners should be implemented, and has been getting a great deal of focus in
the media. The League’s aim is to reduce the harm done to animals through violence from their
owners and properly educate the pet owners on how to properly care for their pet. In Gonzalez'
post, published on the Facebook page of the Animal Justice League, he makes use of a critical tone,
evident in his use of attacks against the Animal Justice League. He argues that the proposal is
‘unworkable’ as it would cost a large amount of money to implement, the problem will not be solved
completely and lead to an increasing amounts of homeless dogs as the owners fail the testing
despite their good-intentions as they lack knowledge.
