This section lists the pseudowire CLI commands for the CTR 8540.
N O TE: T1 is not c ur r ently s uppor ted.

cablelength long
Command Objective
This command sets the Line Build Out of the E1 to various values.
CAUTION: The cablelength long command must be executed only when Line Mode is set
to Long Haul (CSU).

Syntax
cablelength long { neg225db | neg15db | neg75db | zerodb }

Command Objective
This command sets the Line Length for the E1-DSU line.
CAUTION: The cablelength short command must be executed only when Line Mode is set
to Short Haul (DSU).

This command clears the current counters of PW.

This command configures TDM Pseudowire time stamp generation mode.

This command configures a E1 controller and enters into the E1 controller configuration
mode.

This command enables debug options for /E1 Module. The no form of the command disables
debug options for E1 Module.

controller.

Command Objective
This command configures TDM Pseudowire jitter buffer size
CAUTION: Can be modified only when the Pseudowire is yet to be made active and
packet-reorder is enabled.

Syntax
jitter-buffer <size>

Parameter Description
size
(powers of 2) jitter buffer size (2-1024)

Circuit emulation Interface configuration mode.

Example

line status change trap


Command Objective
This command sets the trap state of Line Status Change for the E1 Link.

Syntax
line status change trap { enable | disable }

Parameter Description
enable
Enables trap state of Line Status Change

disable
Disables trap state of Line Status Change

controller) towards loopback mode.

This command sets the E1 Line Mode to either CSU(Long) or DSU(Short Haul).
N O TE: If the line length is gr eater than 655 feet, then the mode mus t be
CSU and the line build out value mus t be s et. (Suppor ted L BO values ar e
0db, -7. 5db, -15db, -22. 5 db).

The E1 mode supports only 256 payload size.

Command Objective
This command sets a specific regenerated priority for a CEM PDU (tagged or untagged).

Syntax
regen-priority <integer(0-7)>

Parameter Description
integer(0-7)
outgoing queue id through which the PDU has to be sent,
0 - Low priority, 7 - High priority

Mode
Serial Interface configuration mode

Example
aos(config-if-pw)# regen-priority 1

rtp
Command Objective
This command configures TDM Pseudowire RTP header inclusion.
CAUTION: This value can be modified only when the Pseudowire is yet to be made active.

Syntax
rtp {enable | disable}

Parameter Description
enable
Includes RTP header

disable
Excludes RTP header

Mode
Circuit emulation Interface configuration mode.

Example

Command Objective
This command will give configurations of circuit emulated interface if interface-id is
specified or for all or specific cem interface.

Syntax
show cem [interface-id | integer(1-128)]

facilitating troubleshooting.

Command Objective
This command sets a specific VLAN priority for a VLAN tagged CESoP PDU (applicable only
for tagged PDU).

Syntax
vlan-priority <integer(0-7)>

Parameter Description
integer(0-7)
outgoing queue id through which the PDU has to be sent,
0 - low priority, 7 - High priority

Mode
Serial Interface configuration mode

Example
aos(config-if-pw)# vlan-priority 5

Command Objective
This command creates Pseudowire and sets it in a not ready state.

Syntax
xconnect <mac-address> vcid <integer> encapsulation mef8 vlan
<vlan-id> port <interface>

Parameter Description
Macaddress
Mac address of destination

integer
Unique id representing PW ranging from 0 to 128.

vlan-id
Vlan id with range 1-4094

interface
Destination port number with range 1-65536
The port is mandatory only when the <mac> given is the same as the switch mac.port
option, which cannot be specified in other cases.

Interface configuration mode
