I BELIEVE IN STEWARDSHIP

I believe in the God of love, owner of everything who possesses everyone.

I believe in the God of mercies who has chosen me to be a steward of Mother Nature and
Mother Church, in spite of who I am and what I have done, and in spite of the infidelities He
knows I will still commit.

I believe in the power of giving and in the power of loving like Jesus; because love is the only
to holiness; giving is the best proof of loving; and perfect renunciation leads to unlimited
fruitfulness.

I believe that in freely giving my time, and in humbly sharing my talents, and in generously
sacrificing my treasures, the Lord will always provide. He takes care of all my needs and bless
me with infinite reward on earth and in heaven.

I will be the first to give, I will not wait for the others. I will keep on giving even if others do
not give. I will not be afraid to have none.

I believe that the best time to share is now, not tomorrow, for tomorrow is an excuse of the
greedy.

I will keep my needs and wants simple and few, for I believe that in reducing my selfishness,
I will grow in happiness and holiness.

"I, the Lord, am your God,

who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery.
You shall not have other gods besides me.
You shall not carve idols for yourselves

or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the earth;

For I, the Lord, your God, am a jealous God,

Gospel Reading: Matthew 13:18-23
Jesus said to his disciples, "Now listen to the parable of the sower.
When a person hears the message of the Kingdom but without taking it to himself, the
devil comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed that fell
along the footpath.

The seed that fell on rocky ground stands for the one who hears the word and
accepts it at once with joy. But this fickle and has no roots. No sooner is he harassed
or persecuted because of the word, than he gives up.

The seed that fell among the thistles is the one who hears the word, but then the
worries of this life and the love of money choke the word, and it does not bear fruit.

As for the seed that fell on good soil it is the one who hears the word and
understands it; this bears fruit and produces a hundred, or sixty, or thirty times more."

And as he sowed, some seed fell on the path,
and the birds came and ate it up.
Other seed fell on rocky ground where it had little soil.

Some seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it
and it produced no grain.
And some seed fell on rich soil and produced fruit.

those present along with the Twelve
questioned him about the parables.
He answered them,
"The mystery of the Kingdom of God has been granted to you.
But to those outside everything comes in parables, so that
they may look and see but not perceive,
and hear and listen but not understand,
in order that they may not be converted and be forgiven."

Jesus said to them, "Do you not understand this parable?

Then how will you understand any of the parables?
The sower sows the word.
These are the ones on the path where the word is sown.
As soon as they hear, Satan comes at once
and takes away the word sown in them.
And these are the ones sown on rocky ground who,
when they hear the word, receive it at once with joy.
But they have no roots; they last only for a time.
Then when tribulation or persecution comes because of the word,
they quickly fall away.
Those sown among thorns are another sort.
They are the people who hear the word,
but worldly anxiety, the lure of riches,
and the craving for other things intrude and choke the word,
and it bears no fruit.
But those sown on rich soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it
and bear fruit thirty and sixty and a hundredfold."

Bukod pa sa mga nabanggit na, marami pang ibang mga bagay na maaaring
maging sanhi ng pagputi ng iyong buhok. Kabilangang na dyan ang pagiging
exposed sa radiation at chemotheraphy. Ang dalawang ito ay may kaniya
kaniyang pakinabang sa tao subakit hinddi mmaipagkakaila na mayroon din
silang masamang maidudulot. Ang pagputi ng buhok ay maaari ring namana
noo sa iyong mga magulang o iba pang miyenbro ng pamilya. Kung ganito
nga ay ang iyong mga genes ang dahikan kung bakit mabilis pumuti ang
iyong mga buhok. Bukod pa sa mga ito, ang kakulangan ng nutrisyon sa
katawan o malnutrition, maging anv mga taong may nutritionnal defficiency at
hormonal imbalance ay posible ring pumuti ang buhok kahit na siya’y bata
pa.

At dahil nga hindi pa naman talaga panahon ng pagputi ng kanilang buhok,

maraming mga tao ang umaasa sa oagkukulay ng buhok. Walang duda, ang
hair dye ay nakakapagpabago ng kulay ng buhok ng isa tao ngunit, hindi nito
nagagawang pigilan ito mula sa pinagmulan nito. Ang tanging magagawa nito
lamang ay takpan ng ibang kulay ang bahagi kung saan mo ito inilagay. Isa
pa, ang chemical compounds namatatagpuan sa mga pangkulay ng buhok ay
masama rin para sa kalusugan ng ating mga hair follicles. Bukod sa pagputi
ng buhok ay maaari pa itong ma-damaged.
Kung inaakala mo naman na tila ba walang nang ibang lunas ang kondisyong

lamang na maghanda ng dalawang bagay at iyoo ay ang lemon juice at
coconut oil.

Ang dalawang sangkap na ito ay ang iyong magiging katuwang sa

pagppapanumbalik ng magandang kulay ng iyong buhok. Paano
makatutulong ang dalawang ito? Simple lang ang sagot. Ang lemon juice kasi
ay mayaman sa Vitamin B at C. Nabanggit na kanina na posibleng dahik sa
kakulangan ng Vitamin B kaya nagkakaganyan ang kulay ng iyong buhok, ito
ang solusyon dyan. Sa kabilang banda naman, punong puno ng anti-bacteriak
properties ang coconut oil, na magbibigay ng nourishment sa iyong ulo. At
dahil sa mga ito ay tiyak na magbabalik na ang dating kulay ng iyong buhok at
magiging mas maganda pa ito at matibay.

Napakasimple lang ng kailangang gawin upang mangyari ito. Kung may

naihanda ka nang tatlong kitsafa ng lemon juice at 50 mm ng orgabic coconut
oil, tara na’t simulan na natin ang paggawa. Paghahaluin mo lang naman ang
dalawang sangkap na ito at pagkatapos ay mayroon ka nang ointment na
ipapahit sa ulo. Kapag ginamit mo ito ay maghintay pa ng isang oras bago
banlawan. Gawin ito isang beses isang linggo ng tuloy tuloy at makaaasa ka
sa pinaka mahusay na resulta.

Definition: Internal Control can be defined as a system designed, introduced and maintained by

assurance in achieving business objective, while complying with the policies and laws,
safeguarding the assets, maintaining efficiency and effectiveness in regular operations and
reliability of financial statements.

Objectives of Internal Control System

 To ensure that the business transactions take place as per the general and specific authorisation of
the management.
 To make sure that there is a sequential and systematic recordingof every transaction, with the
accurate amount in their respective account and in the accounting period in which they take place. It
confirms that the financial statement fulfils the relevant statutory requirements.
 To provide security to the company’s assets from unauthorised use. For this purpose, physical
security systems are used to provide protection such as security guards, anti-theft devices,
surveillance cameras, etc.
 To compare the assets in the record with that of the existing onesat regular intervals and report to
the those charged with governance (TCWG), in case any difference is found.
 To evaluate the system of accounting for complete authorisationof the transactions.
 To review the working of the organization and the loopholes in the operations and take necessary
steps for its correction.
 To ensure there is the optimum utilization of the firm’s resources, i.e. men, material, machine and
money.
 To find out whether the financial statements are in alignment with the accounting concepts and
principles.
An ideal internal control system of an organization is one that ensures best possible utilization of
the resources, and that too for the intended use and helps to mitigate the risk involved in it
concerning the wastage of organization’s funds and other resources.

Prayer for Sis Julie

Provident God, you who called Sr. Julie to follow the footsteps of Blessed Emilie Gamelin. She
offered you her life to do your will. She is a true religious person with the Sisters of Providence
dedicated to serving the poor. Grant her wisdom, courage and mercy in life so that she could
bring love and service to the needy. Give her the grace she need to imitate Emilie’s virtues.

for all those who are suffering,

Reflect, today, upon your own life. At times we carry some heavy cross and beg
our Lord to take it from us. Instead, God tells us that His grace is sufficient
and that He wishes to use our sufferings as a testimony of our fidelity. So, the
Father’s response to Jesus, His response to John and His response to us is a
call to enter into the mystery of our sufferings in this life with faith, hope,
confidence and fidelity. Never let the hardships of life deter you from your
fidelity toward the will of God.

Lord, may I have the strength of Your Son and the strength of St. John the
Baptist as I carry my own crosses in life. May I remain strong in faith and
filled with hope as I hear You calling me to embrace my cross. Jesus, I trust
in You.

The program aims to empower women at the grassroots level and provide them opportunities to be
productive and self-reliant.
When Emilie Gamelin lost her husband and her children, she often prayed before the picture of the
Blessed Virgin Mary. This picture she kept all her life praying to our Lady of Seven Sorrows for her
help. So with this, it is clear that she is a Marian devotee. The book “Our Lady of Sorrows in our
Life”, part 1 titled A Devotion Bound to our History, Emilie Gamelin also mentioned in her personal
notes that Virgin of Sorrows is her pole of attraction, her voyage companion, her constant comfort. In
her retreat in 1847, she wrote in her retreat notebook this phrase,“I have in this meditation, taken the
resolution never to spend a day without invoking Mary, Mother of Sorrows”…
