I created the Supreme & Ultimate options to be better than Ultra Settings but, not
to the point where most can't use those options on a decent card. I still wanted
the game playable. (I get almost solid 60FPS @ 1440p on a GTX1080 at Ultimate, no
HW)
Extreme I created due to a some requests by users to go beyond Ultimate but still
playable for high end graphic cards or SLI setups. (I get about 38-42FPS @1440p on
a GTX1080 at Extreme, no HW)
Whats nice about this is you don't have to manually edit your ini files yourself.
The ingame options will do that for you. Also, this will not show your in-game
options to low after the change like, when you manually edit your own ini files.
Install: Copy bin folder and paste into your withcer 3 folder and allow to
overwrite. I have included a back up folder for your rendering & base files that
will be changed.
Notes about each setting: (biggest hitters Shadows, Grass Density & Foliage
Distance)
Some options I made to do more changes to you ini file that what Low-Ultra will do
normally. (That is why I want you to back up your own user ini file)
Shadows: Each setting increases the resolution, quality and distance of shadows for
both close and far shadows. Shadow resolution is 4096 (Supreme & Ultimate) and 8192
(Extreme).
no new effect changes added to this option.
Terrain: I did add some changes to this that Low-Ultra will not make. I added lines
to make changes to increase TerrainReadAheadDistance,
MeshRenderingDistance,MeshLODDistanceScale,MeshLODGameplayDownscale and
CharacterLODGameplayDownscale
Adjustments were also made to support those users using the mod "High Quality
Faces" by making MeshLODDistanceScale=10.
Foliage Distance: Increased Grass and Foliage Distance for each Supreme-Ultimate-
Extreme. Note: For Grass Distance anything higher than 2.4 seems to cause bad pop
in of grass when turning. So 2.4 is the max set even for Extreme. (uless someone
can tell me why that is happening I couldn't figure it out)
Thanks to user RicktheDope for help as well with some recommended settings.
