Free Sound Recorder

1. Download from http://www.qtresources.com/esl/programs/FreeSoundRecorder.exe


2. Install and run
3. From the main interface, you can edit "Options" or "Schedule"

4. Under Options, you can change the following settings:


a. General Settings:
• Change the output file type (Suggested: Mp3 or Wma)
• Change the Output Directory
• Auto create the file name using date and time
b. Hot Keys (You can use the following to start and stop your recordings without using your
mouse.)
• Check "Active Hotkey" if you want to enable this function
• Start Recording: state the key that you want to use as a shortcut for recording
• Stop Recording: state the key that you want to use for ending a recording
c. Schedule
• If you know that you'll miss a class, you can schedule the program to record at
that time.
5. Schedule is on the main interface for easier access
FileZilla:
1. Download from https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client
2. Install and run
3. Use the following settings:
• Host: qtresources.com
• Username: esl@qtresources.com
• Password: learning&sharing

4. Click on Quickconnect
5. Once logged in, you should see a status: Directory listing Successful
6. Right click -> select "Ceate Directory" -> rename the "New Directory" with your username ->
Click OK

Replace "New Directory" with


your username. For Example:

7. Double click on the folder with your name and drag your audio recording there to be uploaded.

Drag the file you want to upload to

8. Use the following path to link the file in the forum:


http://www.qtresources.com/esl/<username>/<filename.ext>
After the initial login, you won't have to reinput the login information. Just click on the drop down arrow
next to the "Quickconnect" and select the server you want to connect to.
Posting Media
1. Access http://viet-esl.info and log in with your user account
2. Navigate to where you want to post
3. Use this code to post the audio file: [mp3]link[/mp3] (Remember that all beginning tags need a
closing tag.)
Example:
[mp3]http://www.qtresources.com/esl/example/week1.mp3[/mp3]
