FLOWCHART OF BLOOD DONATION AT PSH

Volunteer donor will be interview by medical officer at A&E

Once interview competed, donor will register by completing
Blood Donor Enrollment Form.

Blood bank personnel will assist for initial screening to

ensure donor is fit for donation ( full blood count and blood pressure taken)

After initial result completed and donor is certified fit , blood bank personnel will accompany
donor for donation process done at KPJ Johor Specialist. Transportation will be provided.

Donation will be done supervise by staff nurse at donation room, JSH.

A pint of blood is drawn from volunteer donor. After completed, patient
will be given rest for 5 to 10 minutes before headed back to PSH.
