I would like to work as a first-year bilingual teacher at Shands Elementary, as your

needs perfectly complement my strengths. I have recently acquired a bachelor’s degree in
teaching from Texas A&M Commerce and would now like to apply my teaching skills in
a real-time environment. My time spent in the classroom as an intern exposed me to
many modern teaching practices that I can’t wait to introduce to my own classroom.

During my training as a teacher, I was coached in the various manners of engaging a

group of students in discussions and demonstrations along with ensuring that the
objective of the lesson is communicated to the students effectively. My ability to teach
academic concepts that promote physical, emotional, social and intellectual development
are well-honed and I take pride in making sure all lessons are engaging for all students.
Additionally, I believe that relationships are fundamental to classroom success and I can
assist students in reaching their maximum potential.
