Volunteer Work
TLC (Transitional Living Center) 2019-Current

Working with children ages 4-10 in an afterschool program, making a program for them to enjoy. We
play different games, work on homework, bake and decorate cookies and well as different arts and
crafts.

Miryums House April 2019- June 2019

Helped women in that program with cooking and brought new recipes for them every week that were
easy to throw together and using a budget. It was useful for the women so that when they do move
back out on their own, they have cooking skills and can still stay within a budget but make home cooked
meals.

Camp N-SID-Sen Retreat center

Volunteered for 6 summers as a youth camp counselor for both junior high and senior high youth. We
played lots of games and did group activities as well as water sports, singing, dancing, and enjoying
unplugging and being in nature. It’s a church camp that I grew up going to and enjoy being able to
volunteer and give back to the camp as an adult.

Pilgrim Firs Retreat Center

Volunteered as a camp counselor there for a week in the summer as a high school camp counselor. We
played games in the field, taught dance moves, had programming, and did activities in water.

Washington Regional Youth Event (WRYE)

Volunteered as a youth counselor for a week-long event held at Seattle University, where we not only
had fun programs but went out in the community and volunteered. Helped with project Sack lunch, and
we packed lunches for the homeless population and took them and passed them around Seattle.
