Problem encountered: Favoritism
As a student what problem that you encountered to your teacher?
Kris: The Teacher is Favoritism
Me: Why?
Kris: Because, if He asked a question, He is only focused in one student and others does not
exist. So, this have a bad effect on me and others, I feel inferiority and unnoticed to his classed
and we starting doubt about his capability to handling a class. So how can teacher educate his
student about equality, if the teacher itself is not equal.
Me: How can you Handle this problem during your classes?
Kris: We keep quiet during his classed and we let him do what he wanted. I know in a class
there’s always someone that will stand out and someone that will not despite of that we are all
equal, but at the end of the day we are his students. We need treated fairly. So it does mean that
in almost all class activities the smart one is lead .Reconsider us, we may not be smartest but
surely we have individual talents residing inside us.
Me: If you had a chance to talk your teacher. What would you like to convey to your teacher?
Kris: if I have a chance I would like to say to him be fair and always think that we exist in his
class and don’t focused only in one person. What if we want to represent and experience being
part to his class? What if we want to speak Up? So give us a chance to participate and
collaborate to his class. That’s all
Me: This is the only problem that you encountered to your teacher?
Kris: Yes, that’ only
Me: I think you must better to speak up what you feel to your teacher for him to know how you
feel and how he can change his teaching approach.
Kris: I will try but I can’t promise that I can do

Ma’am, How can you handle this problem during your class discussion?
I have to be very versatile. Since I know the problems encountered during discussions,
ahead of time I prepared for the things that needs attention. Ahead of time the determinants of
those problem must be address and must be in conditioned already, this is to avoid hassle and
disruptions during my discussions.
Example: I check all materials before my class starts. I have prepared activities to boost
students energy and to get their attention and so on.
