At the outset, I convey my warmest wishes for the festive season ahead! I congratulate you
for your active participation in the Swachhata Abhiyan, Water Conservation measures, Tree
Plantation drive and activities conducted by you to celebrate the 150 th birth anniversary of
Mahatma Gandhi. With your dedicated involvement and concerted efforts, our schools are
becoming aware about innovative pedagogy and Experiential Learning and all other recent
initiatives for qualitative improvement of teaching-learning process in CBSE schools.
I am pleased to announce that CBSE has launched its Activity Calendar which is available on
the CBSE websites www.cbse.nic.in and www.cbseacademic.nic.in at the link

will show the same zeal for the successful implementation of the following activities planned in
the month of October 2019:

 Organising Sports Activities

 Inter-school Sports Competition
 Swachhata Abhiyaan
 CBSE-TERI Green Olympiad 2019
 CBSE Heritage India Quiz
 CBSE-WWF-India Wisdom Quiz
I expect that the enthusiastic spirit demonstrated by you in all our collective efforts for
educational transformation will continue throughout the session and the above activities will
have almost 100% participation from your schools.
You are aware that the Board has uploaded multiple teacher and student resources on
DIKSHA. I hope you are utilizing it to the fullest by downloading from https://diksha.gov.in.

You are also requested to upload a brief report of these activities, containing a few
photographs, on the website of your school and also send the same to your concerned
Regional Office.
