Haze in severe conditions can damage and even cause respiratory problems for humans, including
emphysema, bronchitis, and asthma. The following will explain the substances contained in the haze
along with the negative effects caused: Sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, oxidants,
hydrocarbons, chlorine, dust particles, lead.
