ULTRASOUND
Ultrasound Testis/Scrotal
History :
Technique : Longitudinal and transverse images using high frequency linear probe
were taken in the scrotal region.
Findings :
Cyst of size 7 x 5mm noted in left epididymis.

Grade III left varicocele seen.

Both the testis are of normal uniform homogenous echotexture.

No areas of increase or decrease reflectively seen.

Testicular capsule is of normal thickness.

Right epididymis is well visualized and is of normal echogenicity.

Impression : Grade III left varicocele.

Left epididymal cyst.

To be correlated clinically.

decreased through transmission s/o Grade-I fatty changes.
Hepatic biliary system & porta hepatic appear normal.
Gall Bladder : is normally distended. Wall thickening is within normal limit. No mass
seen. Visualised CBD is not dilated. Distal CBD is obscured by bowel
gases.
Pancreas : is normal in size & echotexture
Right kidney : is normal in shape, size, echotexture & position. Pelvicalyceal system is normal.
No calculus seen. No mass seen.
Left kidney : is normal in shape, size, echotexture & position. Pelvicalyceal system is normal.
No calculus seen. No mass seen.
Spleen : is normal in size & echotexture.
Urinary Bladder : The Urinary bladder is normally distended. Wall thickening with
internal echoes noted.
Prostate is normal in size & echotexture.

No free fluid seen.

No e/o any significant intra-abdominal lymphadenopathy seen.

Impression : Grade I fatty changes in liver.
UB wall thickening with echoes - cystitis.
To be correlated clinically.
