The main shortcoming of allowing tablets in school is the creation of distraction and gaining the

interest of irrelevant expensive products by the students. The tablet takes the internet of the

student from the teacher while in the classroom. The other shortcoming is cost, technology

experts fix complicated, broken tablets rather than training teachers on technological

advancements. The experts require a lot of time to fix the gadget and charge the schools and

parents a lot of money. The parent also has to bear the cost of WI-Fi networks. Research has

indicated that access to the internet and internet-based homework requires good access to the

internet. The Internet is usually not affordable to more than five million low-income households.

On the positive side, tablets grow the interest for health issues in children.
