Summary :
There is a poor family who lives in a barrio and the Father
and the Son help each other to sell street foods with
their so –called kariton. One time the Mother left the
house to work far from their home because she cannot
take the situation of their life anymore. She already
decided to leave their house despite all the restrain she
got from her family not to leave. The Father was left
there to work harder to keep his children alive. His kids
cannot eat 3x a day because they lack money. One
incident happened that changed their life. Their kariton
was smashed because it was hit by a vechile and days
passed he searched for new work but he’s not qualified
because of his documents. He found a new work at a wet
market. He started working there as a lifter of
vegetables. His eldest son always study hard to achieve
his own dreams. One time his father was hit to death by
some gangs that made him so depressed and cannot
work because of his serious condition. He cannot sustain
his family’s food anymore. His son went to the place
where his father works at. He insist that he will be the
replacement of his dad because they don’t have anymore
money. Concealed in knowledge of his father that the
 ‘Turo Turo’
eldest son have an illness. The eldest son still endured all
the pain and show he is happy and made his own money
to buy his family foods to eat. His mother went home
after the abusive traits of her boss. Later on the boy died
because of the uncured disease and he told his dad to
look for her teacher because he made something for him.
And his dad found out that his son made him a kariton. A
neat and colorful kariton that he can sell some street
foods again.

3. Reflection
To the upcoming problems that you need to face with;
you just need to be brave and have strong faith in God to
win the battle. Don’t think about the situation today
think about the situation for tomorrow and for the
upcoming days that will keep you alive and stronger.
