DIAGNOSTIC MODULES

The IaBase95 module for IaBase2000 has been created to make it possible to access and store Audiometeric
test data in IaBase2000. The Audiometer, Impedance Audiometer and Hearing Aid Fitting groups from the
old IaBase95 software have been combined to one group, named IAP. The instrument user interfaces used are
the same as those from Iabase95.

ADDING THE DIAGNOSTIC MODULES TO IaBase2000 :

1. Open IaBase2000.

2. Select "Instrument" and then "Details" from the menu, or right click on the Instrument list
box.

3. The instrument details window is now displayed. Add the name of the instrument in the grid –
e.g. AD229.

4. Choose an Instrument Id. e.g. – AD229.100

5. Choose IAP for Group name.

6. Select the Com. Port and Baudrate to be used for communication with the instrument.

7. Save changes and close the instruments details window.

8. The instrument name should now be visible in the Instrument list box.

STARTING A NEW TEST SESSION :

1. Enter Examiner details (right click on Examiners list or select "Examiners" from the "Clinic"
menu).

2. Select the name of the instrument from the list box.

3. Activate the "New Session" button.

4. The instrument program will now be opened and displayed on the screen.

5. When the session is complete, close and save the test data.

6. The test session details should be visible in the sessions grid.
