Is it better to spend a summer holiday in the

countryside or in the coast?

Some people would rather spend their holidays on the countryside, while
others prefer the coast. How can we choose these two?

I’d like to say I’m more of a beach person myself; I quite enjoy the shining
sun and the warm weather. Also, there’s a certain disconnection from the city life
you get when you go to the beach. The sea is known to be relaxing for most people;
I guess that’s why most choose this option. There’s also the fact that there are
many different parts in the coast, some less popular than others, making booking
and finding a place to stay in not all that difficult, considering you have quite the
wide range of options. It’s not too expensive, if you own a car it’s proba bly the
best option, easy transport and you can probably rent an apartment for a week or
two at a reasonable price.

On the other hand, going to the beach involves crowded places (Not
everywhere but it’s kind of the regular environment), getting sand everyw here you
go and having to constantly be out in the burning sun, ergo, ending drenched in
sweat. I can see why that’s not everyone’s cup of tea and they’d prefer to go the
countryside instead.

The countryside offers us lots of sightseeing, fresh air and a c ertain

tranquility you can’t get anywhere else. In Argentina, it’s usually less humid than
the city, a certain aspect everyone appreciates, and something else that definitely
make it seem like the superior option to most when thinking of where to go for a
summer break or short holiday.

But there’s also the fact that going to the countryside can sometimes be more
expensive and difficult to organize a trip to. Secondly there’s the downside of
annoying bugs and insects everywhere, since we’re mostly talking ab out open
spaces full of flora.

In the end, we could say where each of us spends their holidays in, be it the
countryside or the beach, depends mostly on our own likes and dislikes , with no
really superior ‘advantage’ that could make us choose one or anothe r, it’s mostly
just a personal bias.
