The Dynamism of the Spirit and the Infinite Within

The ascent through the dynamism of the intellect, the dynamism of the will and the dynamism of the
spirit as the image of God help us understand the dynamism of the human spirit toward the infinite. It is
innate to us as human beings to keep on searching to deeply and widely understand the universe. As we
come to know an object, we explore it as far as we can. When we reach its limits, our mind search for
new objects waiting to be explored and analyzed. This is a continues process.

It is inherent to our mind, our intellect, from its first conscious movement to inquire and explore
towards fulfillment or knowledge of the truth and reality. This is why we keep on asking “What, how,
when?”, because we want to find answers to our questions to have enough understanding of something
or of a phenomena. It is in our very nature that we want to find out the truth and what is real in this
world.

Moreover, the human will leads us to the discovery and understanding of actions and events toward the
good. It is our goal to do good to ourselves and to others to fulfill our dream to be a good child of God.
We have to find out what will make us happy. It is not any material things in this earth, but living a
Christian life will fulfill our journey in this earth.

There are some of us who keeps on asking why God does not reveal Himself for us not to go through
obscurity of faith and any arguments. Maybe God chose not to because He wants to test our faith
towards Him. The dynamism of the spirit as the image of God can be achieved when we act like God, live
like God.

May we use our knowledge towards the discovery of truth about our purpose in this world and how to
live a Christian life. May we depend more on our human will that wants to explore and understand how
to be good. If we only focus on the discovery of good acts, this world would be better. For example, we
saw a wallet in the street with identification cards and money. Part of us wants to just take home the
wallet and use the money for our own sake, another part of us wants to return the wallet to its original
owner. If we depend more on our human will to do good, we will return the wallet to its original owner
because our intellect tells us that it is the right thing to do and our human will tells us that it is a good
act. This is just a very simple example, but if we will apply it to all simple acts and to big acts, we can
make a difference. May we all be a responsible citizens so we can make this place a better place to live.

Although, in this time, God did not reveal Himself to us, it is our faith that keeps us going and living
according to His teachings. It is our faith that in His perfect time, He will reveal Himself to us and we will
live an everlasting life with Him.
