So he got tempted with Bathsheba and committed adultery. Worse, he committed a


crime by killing her husband Uriah. What he did displeased God

then he got rebuked through Nathan.

David pleaded to God for the child but the child died despite fasting and wearing
sackcloth

but he went on worshipping despite it all.

in psalm 51 is a psalm of David


his prayer and plea for God after he committed that

maybe their persecution contributed on the reason why they lose their love.

they were really good christians. hardworking and persevering but despite it all
they still lost their love
