To Whom It May Concern,
| am happy to recommend my student Jeanelle Valdovinos. | am Jeanelle's University Su-
pervisor, and in every aspect, Jeanelle excels. As a student teacher, she has been responsible,
creative, and in every way a professional. | have observed her teach on numerous occasions,
and she has excellent classroom management skills. She handles behavior issues with the
compassion and insight of a veteran teacher. Her students at Don Shute Elementary Schoo!
love her. She makes learning fun, and at the same time, she has high expectations of their be-
havior and academic excellence. In the seminar that | teach, she meets every obligation in a
timely fashion and in a consistently thorough and thoughtful way.
At Bradley University, Jeanelle maintains an outstanding 3.86/4 GPA. She has an emphasis
in Early Childhood Education with an ESL endorsement. Her teaching experience is already
extensive. She is in her fourth year working for Rogy’s Learning Center, where she has worked
with children from birth to 8-years old. She has also had experience teaching disadvantaged
and special needs children.
Jeanelle is a first generation American and is perfectly bilingual, which makes her uniquely
qualified for a bilingual program or a program in which she has Spanish-speaking students in
her classroom. She lives in a Hispanic community and understands well the experience of mul-
ticultural students. She has a teaching style that is gentle and calm but firm when appropriate.
She is liked by everyone she meets for her kind and friendly personality.
I recommend Jeanelle Valdovinos without reservations. If you have any questions about this
outstanding student, please feel free to contact me by phone (309-251-1565) or email

Sincerely,
