Violin
The violin is a type of string instrument that can be played by vibrating its four strings with a bow. Although its origin and
creator are not clearly known, it was used as a popular instrument that provided musical accompaniment for dancing until
the mid-16th Century. Soon, it turned into an indispensable instrument playing the central role in orchestras thanks to the
development of fabrication technology and the change that occurred in the musical preference of people. If a high-quality
violin is appropriately taken care of, its performance and value are considered to become even better over time. Among the
expensive violins, those made by Nicola Amati, Antonio Stradivari, and Giuseppe Guarneri are appreciated even today as
"works of art".
