The FIEC is the Faculty of the ESPOL in

charge of the area of electricity and telecommunications, this consists of five careers as they are:
Electrical engineering(my carreer)
Electronics and Automation Engineering
Telecommunications Engineering
Telematics Engineering
Computer science
Electrical engineering is the field of engineering that deals with the study and application of
electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. Applies knowledge of science such as physics and
mathematics to design systems and equipment that allow to generate, transport, distribute and
use electrical energy.
A graduate take place in these activities:

 Generation, Transmission Energy use systems

 Planning Studies Power System
 Operation and Control in efficient form of Electric Power Systems, etc.

The Electrical Engineer specialized in Power Systems serves as:

• Manager of Plant or project

• Consultant and Adviser
• Businessman
• Chief Operations or Maintenance Business
