AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE [0001] Technical Field of the Disclosure [0002] The present embodiment relates geneally to chat= coal starters, and more particularly, to an improved charcoal starter that ensures safe transfer of hot charcoals 10 a barbecue unit and eliminates the need for repetitive inser- tions ofa flammable material into the charcoal stare. [003] Description ofthe Related Ant [004] arbecues commonly use charcoal as a fel source. Fniting charcoal requires high temperature fr a duration of time, and to facilitate this process a growing number of charcoal starter devices has heen developed. In conventional cbarcoal starters, chareoa is placed on top of the charcoal starter anda flammable material such as newspaper is placed atthe botiom portion ofthe stater where the charcoals are present As the newspaper burs it remains in close prox imity to the charcoal and ignites the charcoal, Besides charcoal, any fel source like briquettes, wood chips, and cut ‘wood can also be utilized as they are common in the field of barbecuing, Ifthe applied flammable material does not ignite the chareal, then repetitive insertions of the Aa smable material are often required until the charcoal catches fire. This method of ignition raises the temperate ofthe charcoal starter beyond a sae temperature such that it may cause hur injury toa user. Furer, the Aammable material ‘may contain harmiil or fatal substances, which may be transfered tothe charcoal and then onto fd items while cooking. [0005] Various methods, products and improvements exist {inorder to alleviate the aforementioned problems, One such ‘method describes an apparatus for igniting charcoal with the Delp ofan inflammable and sustainable material, expecially ‘amateral based on wood, The apparatus eludes a cage that receives the charcoal. Onoe the chareoal has burnt sufi- ciently, the hot coals are transfered to a barbecue unit by pouring them out ofthe apparatus. As the apparatus has no ‘thermally resistant handles, the user aust aonmally exerise extreme care while transferring the charcoal tothe barbecue ‘unit wo avoid the splashing out ofthe hot coals [0006] Another method describes a combustible and read- ily ignitable rectangular container. The container i designed to insert into a freestanding octagonal vented metal ignition sleeve resting on 2 grill surfce, Ceumpled paper i placed ‘within the bottom of an ignition sleeve of the container. The container includes a removable handle. The crumpled paper is ignited, which ia tn ignites the combustible container and the charcoal briquettes in an elcieat manner. A user connects the handle with the container to transfer the hot cbaooals to a barbecue unit. Even so, the crumpled paper ‘may include toxie substances, which may be transferred ‘onto food items while cooking. Since the handle is not permanently attached to the container, there is a greater cance ofthe user touching the hot container directly with hisher hands and potentially sustaining a bum to himsell! horse. [0007] Yet another method describes an improved chat- coal starter tht employs a unigue charcoal release system, that pens the chareca o be deposited into a barbecue unit ‘through the bottom of the device, thereby eliminating the splashing of lighted ashes. The charcoal starter utilizes 3 Feb. 16, 2017 combustible material such as newspaper for firing the device. However, this combustible material often cannot produce a high enough temperate required forthe proper Jantion ofthe charcoal. Moreover, repetitive insions of the combustible material are often roquirad in order 19 adequately ignite the charcoal {0008} FIG. illustrates an example prior at of charcoal starter.
