CLINICAL HISTORY : 50 year old female, menopausal, with palpable breast masses

and suspicious calcifications on mammogram and ultrasound

BODY SITE & PROCEDURE : Breast, right at 12:00 3 cm from nipple; (ultrasound-

guided core needle biopsy)

DIAGNOSIS: Fibrocystic changes ( within and over normal range) cycts and ductal ectasia
(82%), mild herplasia (40%), non sclerosing adenosis (23%) and periductal fibrosis (18%),
fibroadenoma properties present (46%); and miscellaneous (lobular hyperplasia,juvenile
hypertrophy and stromal hyperplasia)

Benign tumors; hamartoma, lipoma, phyllodes tumor, solitary papilloma, neurofibroma, giant
adenoma and adenomyoepithelioma

Undefined lesions : fat necrosis and lesions
