Greetings!!!

The Department of Interior and Local Government requiring us to create a BARANGAY ACTION
TEAM (BAT), for efficient and effective governance in grass roots level. It was stated in Local
Government Code of 1991, Section 3, Par (L) further provides the participation of private sector in local
governance, particularly in the delivery of basic services as an alternative strategy for sustainable
development; and in Section 34 of the Local Government of 1991, Role of People’s and Non-
Government Organization states that “Local Government Units shall promote the establishment and
operation of people’s and Non-government Organization to become active partners in the pursuit of
local autonomy”;

In connection with this requirement of DILG we are inviting you as one of the members of the
Barangay Action Team (BAT) for the preparation of our Annual Appropriation and Annual Project for
Fiscal Year 2016.
